Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant (LDT-C)

NJ State certification as an LDT/C

Previous experience as a Child Study Team Member preferred.

• PreK-8 learning community seeks a student-centered Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant to join our Child Study Team.
• Working collaboratively with the School Psychologist and School Social Worker, the candidate will be responsible for the educational assessments, determining eligibility for special education and related services, developing recommendations, and monitoring student progress through their case management.
• Candidates should also have a focus on teacher collaboration, student support, and pre-referral interventions.
• The position requires strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and service providers.
• Our primary goal is to support the educational, social, and emotional growth of each student while promoting success in the least restrictive environment.
