Full-Time School Nurse

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• An earned Bachelor's Degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university, based upon an approved School Nurse Program that includes student teaching
• Current New Jersey registered Professional Nurse License (R.N.)
• New Jersey Department of Education School Nurse Certificate
• Required Criminal History background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license
• Satisfactory health status
• Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

JOB GOAL:

Satisfactory health status To promote health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty and staff; to assist with the teaching of sound health practices; to attend to the health and well-being of the students, such that an emergency would take precedence over all other activities.

• Please see below for salary range for Step 1 School Nurse. Salary may be negotiable based on experience. Step 1 BA: $61,025, Step 1 BA + 30: $63,577, Step 1 MA: $64,852, etc.
