*Special Education Aide *

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a State and Federal Background Check
• Must hold (able to obtain) a valid Educational Aide Permit with Ohio Department Of Education
• Experience working with 1:1 students
• Experience in changing soiled diapers if needed
• Exceptional attendance and punctuality
• Experience working in multiple disabilities classroom a plus
• Experience working with non-verbal & verbal students
• Passion & love for students who can't help themselves
• Strong student management skills
• Ability to lift & bend with students

*Must have one of the following*

• 48 College semester hours
• 72 College quarter hours
• Associate Degree
• Passed the Ohio Paraprofessional test
• Valid Educational Aide Permit with Ohio Department Of Education
