Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience, or
- Associate degree and two (2) years of related experience
Please Note: This position is based at our Flagler/Palm Coast campus. To support onboarding and training, the selected candidate will be required to attend in-person training at our Daytona Beach campus during the initial months of employment. Applicants must be able to work on-site at either designated campus location as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsels students, parents, and faculty on available financial aid programs and accompanying regulations; assists students with application for financial aid.
- Determines financial aid eligibility (including verification), and awards financial aid in compliance with all federal, state and institutional guidelines.
- Maintain an updated working knowledge of all federal, state, and institutional rules/regulations pertaining to Financial Aid programs.
- Maintains record system, gathers and maintains data/information to support periodic and special reports documenting activities for area of responsibility.
- Work extended hours during peak registration periods as needed and be available a other times during the year as deemed necessary by the Dean.
- Conduct Financial Aid nights and group presentations when needed.
- Performs routine office tasks such as data entry, typing correspondence, filing, faxing, telephoning, and photocopying.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.

- Knowledge of financial aid programs, policies, and procedures.
- Commitment to the principles of access and providing the best customer service and student support experience to families.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students and College personnel.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with students, parents and coworkers.
- Ability to organize work and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Possess computer skills and have knowledge of software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
