Adjunct Faculty: Clinical Nursing

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher with a major in nursing*
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical nursing practice

* Otherwise qualified applicants who are within 6-12 months of completing their master's degree in nursing are encouraged to apply.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to teach various hours on weekdays and potentially some weekend hours
• Willingness to travel outside Bloomington/Normal to teach clinical
• Employment or experience in specialty areas such as labor & delivery/OB, pediatrics, mental health, critical care, neuro

Adjunct faculty shall be compensated per Equated Contact Hours (ECH) of instruction. The current rate of compensation per ECH for new Adjunct Faculty is $1,092.
