Description

SUMMARY
Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for American National Government or American State and Local Government classes. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom
Examples of Duties

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Political Science or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Political Science or a J.D.
  • Two years of teaching experience in higher education.
  • Previous online instruction required where appropriate.
  • Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Supplemental Information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous teaching experience in a community college
  • Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other virtual teaching platform
