Broadcasting Assistant

Description

This position is necessary in order to fulfill all of the obligations of producing St. Bonaventure basketball games for ESPN+.

Examples of Duties

Needs to be able to work under deadline pressure, make quick decisions and follow ESPN+ game formats
25%
Will need an advanced level of computer skills as well as an understanding of the flow of
Basketball game.: 25%
Will be responsible pre-game preparations and set-up as well as in game controls like replay and graphics: 15%
Needs to work well with others and be able to take directions: 25%
Will also be required to provide training and oversight of St. Bonaventure students as needed: 10%

Typical Qualifications

2 year or 4 year degree in Media or Television related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of college basketball and knowledge of television equipment, cameras, audio equipment and replay equipment preferred but we will train in those areas if needed.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
