Lead New Student Mentor (2026-2027)

The Lead New Student Mentor works as a member of the TXWES Orientation team and serves in an advanced peer-leadership role that helps further the mission and focus of the Division of Student Affairs. This position helps lead and mentor a team of New Student Mentors while assisting with the planning, development, and facilitation of New Student Registration Days, Ram Camp, and related Orientation and Transition Programs. The Lead New Student Mentor gains experience working across multiple areas of the division, develops short- and long-term programmatic goals, and helps incoming students transition successfully to Texas Wesleyan University through positive, professional, and welcoming service. The position also helps the student employee build advanced leadership, project management, and mentorship skills while supporting the university's mission of student success.
