New Student Mentor (2026-2027)

The New Student Mentor works as a member of the TXWES Orientation team and serves as a peer leader who supports the planning and facilitation of New Student Registration Days and Ram Camp. This position helps incoming students transition successfully to Texas Wesleyan University by building relationships, leading small groups through the orientation experience, and modeling positive, professional, and welcoming customer service. The position also helps the student employee build leadership, communication, and event-support skills while supporting the university's mission of student success.
