Building Maintenance Worker 1st Shift

Hourly Rate: $27.11 per hour

Required Skills and Abilities:
Good working knowledge of the common practices, tools, terminology, and safety precautions of one or more mechanical or construction trades; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; good eye-hand coordination; ability to work well with others; manual dexterity; mechanical aptitude; dependability; good judgment; and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One year of experience in general building construction, maintenance, or repair work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or masonry; or
• Three years of experience assisting in general building construction, maintenance, or repair work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or masonry; or
• An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of options 1 and 2 above.
