Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of Paraprofessional.

37.5 hours a week 1-on-1 Paraprofessional

Jefferson Elementary School

Paraprofessional Duties Include

• Monitor and supervise students
• Working in a classroom setting or 1-on-1 with a student as needed

Paraprofessional Qualifications

• Highly Qualified Parapro Approval (60 hours post-secondary work shown on a transcript or passing score on the parapro assessment/diploma or GED)
• Interest and ability to work with students/teachers
• Ability to work with others as well as independently
• Ability to multi-task

Salary and Fringe Benefits

• Hourly rate will be based on the lane/step placement of the paraprofessional for the 26-27 school year per the DESPA collective bargaining agreement. Range: $15.00 - $18.41
• Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave.
• Two (2) days personal leave per year.
• Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance offered.
• IMRF Retirement
