Part-Time Health Assistant (Nurse) - Dempsey Day School

Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Health Assistant (Nurse) at Dempsey Therapeutic Day School for the 2026-2027 school year.

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Administer first aid to students and staff; assess students' complaints of illness. Make decisions to have ill or injured students transported to a doctor, hospital or home when needed.
• Review student health records; verify that physicals and immunizations are compliant.
• Perform routine health care duties as directed by the Health Services Coordinator.
• Maintain student health records.
• Assist the RMS/Madison nurse with day-to-day tasks and paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

• RN or LPN with current active license.
• Interest and ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to perform routine health care duties as directed by the District Health Coordinator.

SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITS

• Hourly rate will be determined based upon license and experience.
• 20 - 25 hours per week

Pay Range for LPN: $19.59-$24.14
Pay Range for RN: $20.75-$25.42
