Skilled Maintenance Person

SKILLED MAINTENANCE PERSON VACANCY:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma preferred. Equivalent (GED) or demonstrated basic skills in computation and communication, both oral and written acceptable.
• General maintenance, HVACR and Boiler operation experience required. Experience in school maintenance procedures preferred.
• Full-time maintenance person shall hold and maintain a valid Black Seal Boiler's License. If not presently a holder of Black Seal License, shall obtain a Black Seal License within two (2) years of date of hire. Current holder of Black Seal License desirable.
• Shall possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Must have experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, schematics and repairing packaged rooftop units, heat pumps, refrigeration and kitchen equipment. Experience working with chillers and water towers are a plus.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position, which includes considerable bending, walking, shoveling of snow, lifting and moving objects. Must be able to perform tasks that require lifting and moving objects that may weigh up to 100 lbs. Also must be able to climb to heights of 20 feet or greater.
• HVAC experience with CFC certification, plumbing experience, electrical license or journeyman's certificate strongly preferred.
• Such alternatives and/or additions to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
According to the ETEA Contract ($67,181 & benefits after a successful 60 day evaluation period)
