Bus/Car Driver (Substitute)

Positions available for 2026-27 school year

  • Qualifications:
  • Possess VA license with applicable endorsements, having completed bus driver training
  • program, assessment and medical evaluation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Students, Principal and Transportation Dept. Staff
  • Work with limited supervision, reporting issues appropriately and maintaining paperwork
  • Demonstrate good moral character as role model for students
  • Prefer experience as bus or car driver

Substitute Bus Driver Pay is $100/day.

Substitute Car Driver, Activity Bus and/or Bus aide is $14.75/hour.
