Pre-K-8 School District of Excellence seeks exceptional candidates for openings for the

2026-2027 School Year:

Substitute Teachers

The candidates must have the following:

Must hold a NJ Teaching License or a NJ Substitute Teacher License.

Applicants are eligible for a substitute teacher credential if you are enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education, completed 30 semester-hour credits and at least 20 years of age.

Salary:

• $140/day with a NJ Substitute Certificate
• $160/day with a NJ Teaching Certificate

Substitute teaching positions are on call, per diem at the rates shown above. If chosen, you will be required to complete a background check and other applicant requirements to be explained upon offer of employment.
