2026-27 Substitute Food Service Workers

The Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for Food Service Worker Substitues for the 2026-27 school year. Hours and location may vary and will be discussed during interviews.

Typical Work Activities:

• Manual work in the preparation and serving of food.
• Responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Serves as cashier on student faculty food service line.
• Does related work as required.

Appointments are subject to Board of Education approval.

Positive Fingerprint Clearance through NYSED is required.

Candidates should have the ability to:

• Consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• May be exposed to hot, cold, and freezing temperatures.

Candidates with previous food service experience, or knowledge of food service operations are preferred but not required.
