Long term substitute Physical Education Teacher

• Plan and teach physical education lessons for students across assigned grade levels.
• Provide instruction in physical fitness, sports, movement skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive environment during physical education activities.
• Adapt activities and instruction to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
• Supervise students in the gymnasium, outdoor facilities, locker rooms, and other assigned areas.
• Establish and maintain classroom expectations, routines, and appropriate student behavior.
• Assess student participation, skill development, and understanding of physical education concepts.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and other required student records.
• Communicate appropriately with students, families, teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, safety procedures, and district expectations.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support student learning and development.
• Maintain equipment and report safety concerns or maintenance needs as appropriate.
• Perform other duties normally assigned to the Physical Education teaching position.
