Long-term Special Education Teacher - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Long-Term Special Education Substitute Teacher beginning approximately May 5, 2027 through November 22, 2027.

It is preferred that candidates hold an DCD licensure from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensure options. The salary range for this position is $33.50 per hour to $62.40 per hour, depending on education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and a retirement plan with employer contributions. This position will work 40 hours per week with students at Park Elementary.

Park Elementary School is located near downtown Hutchinson, serving approximately 400 students in grades 4 and 5. We have a qualified, exceptional staff working together to provide consistent research-based instruction while tailoring learning to individual needs. Grade levels collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, library, technology, keyboarding, art, and science as well as Gifted/Talented, Special Education, and Title 1 to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Additionally, extended-day and extended-year classes are also offered.
