Long-term Special Education Teacher - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Long-Term Special Education Substitute Teacher beginning approximately December 22, 2026 through May 11, 2027.

It is preferred that candidates hold an ABS or SLD licensure from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensure options. The salary range for this position is $33.50 per hour to $62.40 per hour, depending on education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and a retirement plan with employer contributions. This position will work 40 hours per week with students at Tiger Elementary and West Elementary.

Tiger Elementary School serves students in second and third grade. Our exceptional staff provides students with consistent, research-based instruction tailored to their unique needs. Grade-level teams collaborate with specialists in Music, Physical Education, STREAM, and Art, as well as Enrichment, Special Education, and Title 1, to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners.
