Anticipated Special Education Teacher – Multiple Disabilities Classroom

Salary Range: $60,742.00 - $69,542.00

Requirements:

• Applicants must be certified to teach elementary Special Education
• Experience working with students with multiple disabilities and/or autism preferred
• Direct instructional experience working with autistic students, students with significant cognitive needs, and lower-functioning students preferred
• Strong understanding of delivering direct, differentiated, and individualized instruction for lower-functioning learners and students with complex cognitive needs
• Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills
• Patience, flexibility, creativity, and a student-centered approach
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse strengths and needs

This position is in accordance with the JEA contract
