Special Education – Long-Term Substitute 9.15.26

The Lancaster Central School District is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to serve as long-term substitute Special Education teacher. We are interested in candidates who have the ability to work effectively with all students while collaborating with administration, faculty, and staff to enhance instructional programming and, most importantly, support the success of our students.

Tentative Assignment Dates: November 10, 2026 - February 19, 2027

If/when the teacher transitions to a without-pay status, the substitute will become an interim substitute and will be compensated according to the LCTA agreement, as applicable (e.g., Step 1 Master’s Degree = $55,300 prorated to Step 8 Master’s = $58,750 prorated, with full benefits). *2025/26 rates
