Lewisburg Area High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Varsity Girls Lacrosse program as the Head Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lacrosse, a commitment to student-athlete development, and the ability to foster a positive and competitive team environment. This seasonal position requires effective communication, leadership skills, and a dedication to promoting sportsmanship and teamwork among players.

• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement practice plans that enhance player skills, teamwork, and game strategy.
• Organize and oversee all aspects of the varsity girls lacrosse program, including practices, games, and team events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
• Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and player development.
• Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback to help athletes improve.
• Collaborate with assistant coaches and support staff to ensure the successful operation of the program.
• Coordinate team logistics, including transportation, equipment, and facilities usage.
• Promote the girls lacrosse program within the school and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with all school, district, and state athletic regulations and policies.
• Attend all games, practices, and team meetings, demonstrating commitment and support for the athletes.

• Requirements
• Previous coaching experience in lacrosse, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of girls lacrosse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their personal and team goals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage practice schedules, game logistics, and team communications.
