Night Shift Custodian

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Night Shift Custodian. This full-time position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during afternoon and nighttime hours from 2:30PM - 11:00PM. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.

• Responsibilities
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the facility.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and in excellent condition.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed, reporting any shortages to management.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and performing basic repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management.
• Maintain an organized and tidy custodial storage area.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

• Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Background check may be required.
