ESOL Tutor (English as a Second Language)

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic support to students.
• Work with small groups of students in push-in or pull-out settings.
• Support students in completing assignments and mastering content as outlined by a designed curriculum.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers and other school staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
• A foundational understanding of the content area is necessary to effectively tutor students.
• Retired teachers are highly encouraged to apply!
• Training will be provided.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to pass a background screen and/or fingerprinting.

Work Hours

This is a part-time position, hours to be determined.

Compensation

• Bachelor's Degree: $40 per hour
• Less than a Bachelor's Degree: $20 per hour
