JOB TITLE: Substitute Registered Nurse
REPORTS TO: Principal
DEPT/SCHOOL: Assigned
WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt
PAYGRADE: Substitute

Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular employee.

Education/Certification:
Valid RN license.

Terms of employment:

On a daily basis, as called. Salary is to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION:

Evaluation of job performance is a continuous process designed to improve the quality of work performed. Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board Policy on Evaluations.

The Superintendent or designee shall have authority to remove a substitute's name from the Approved Substitute List for "good cause".
