ESL/Adult Basic Skills Instructor Part-Time

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a NJ State Licensed Teacher in academic area at elementary or secondary level.
• Teaching experience required; ESL teaching experience preferred
• Comfortable and willing to utilize technology in the classroom.

Terms of Employment:

• Availability for the duration of the program from September to June
• Option #1: Saturday morning assignment from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Option #2: Evening assignment two nights per week 5:30 to 9 pm
• Multiple Positions Available. Sites include MCST- Denville Campus and Morristown High School

Responsibilities:
This is a grant funded program that provides free instruction and practice in English Language skills for students ages 16 and older.

• Develop and facilitate lessons that incorporate reading, listening and speaking activities.
• Develop and facilitate lessons that incorporate community, civics and employment topics.
• Strict attention is given to attendance and student outcomes.
