BUS DRIVERS - CONTRACTED/SUBSTITUTE

The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following

staff vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year:

Bus Drivers - Contracted

Bus Drivers - Substitute

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid New Jersey CDL, Class A or B, with both School Bus and Passenger endorsements.
• Physical examination by a licensed doctor of medicine within 60 days prior to the date of employment.
• Possess a current CDL Physical Examination Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• No misuse or abuse of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs.

Employment Terms: 10 months
Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Salary & Benefits:

• Contracted Drivers: Earn $28.29+ per hour, plus opportunities for extra work.

• Added Financial Perks: Receive a $700 annual cleaning allowance! Plus, if your route is under 30 hours per week, you'll receive an additional $4,000 annual supplemental stipend.
• CDL Medical Exam Reimbursement up to $100 annually.

• Substitute Drivers: Earn a guaranteed $26.00 per hour with highly flexible hours that work around your personal schedule.
• Paid training to earn your CDL is provided by the school district!
