LONG TERM SUBSTITUTES (1001, 2475)

The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following

Certificated staff vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year:

• Long-Term Substitute: Teacher of Special Education - Elementary. Anticipated December 1, 2026 - March 15, 2027. (Cert. 1001, 2475)

• Long-Term Substitute: Teacher of Special Education - Middle School. Anticipated November 19, 2026 - January 8, 2027. (Cert. 1001, 2475)

• Long-Term Substitute: Teacher of Elementary Education - Grade 4. Anticipated October 1, 2026 - January 1, 2027. (Cert. 1001)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey Certification and Subject Area Endorsement or eligibility.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
• Ability to work with other professionals in a team environment for the benefit of
• our students.
• Knowledge/experience of using technology in the classroom.
• Ability to develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Employment Terms: Long-Term Substitute
Anticipated Dates: As noted above.
Salary & Benefits: $60,244. Prorated for employment term. Health benefits not provided.
