Direct and lead the band program and provide quality music instruction.
Plan and conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
Select and prepare music appropriate for students and performances.
Teach musical skills, including technique, theory, sight-reading, and ensemble performance.
Manage the band calendar, including rehearsals, performances, trips, and events.
Maintain and oversee instruments, uniforms, music, and equipment.
Monitor student progress, attendance, behavior, and participation.
Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, staff, and administration.
Coordinate with other music staff and school personnel.
Follow school policies and district procedures, including those related to student safety and supervision.
Promote school spirit and pride through performances and participation in school activities.
Support student leadership and teamwork within the band program.
Handle program budgeting and purchasing in accordance with district procedures.
Stipend Range $6,402.00-$8,209 (SY-26-27)
