Anticipated Interim Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Teacher

Position Summary:

The Roselle Park School District is seeking an anticipated Interim Physical Education Teacher for Roselle Park Middle School. This is an open-ended interim position, continuing until further notice, with an immediate start date.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with Health/Physical Education endorsement
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to student safety, engagement, and physical wellness

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned physical education instruction for middle school students
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal

Salary:

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Roselle Park Education Association (RPEA), salary will be placed on the Teacher Salary Guide,

Degree Level: Step 1 Salary
BA: $66,000
MA+: $70,251
MA+30: $74,961
