Head Track and Field Coach (Boys and Girls)

Description:
Head Track & Field Coach. Position works 20+ hours per week. The MSHSL season starts in March of 2027.

Position has the potential to work with both Boys and Girls, or the split the programs, if needed.

Job Summary:

The Head Coach position is responsible for all teaching and instruction provided to our Track & Field program including, but not limited to: practice, preparation, coordination and organization of all aspects of the High School Track & Field program.. Each of these functions entails decision-making that requires discretion and a significant degree of independent judgment. The coach must develop and maintain a competitive schedule that will allow the team to prepare and compete at the high school level. The position requires significant communication with athletes, parents and the Activities Office. The Coach will also be responsible for working with the Athletic Department to hire staff for all levels and must comply with all MSHSL rules and regulations.

Salary:
Stipend per Teacher Contract.

Qualifications:
Seeking individuals with previous experience in coaching track & field. Good communications skills, experience in the field and a strong desire to work with student/athletes.

Working Conditions:
Coaching environment.
