Description:
The Shakopee School District has two openings for Media Center Paraeducators, with one position available at East Middle School and one at West Middle School. 175 days at 7.25 hrs/day- 7:15 AM-3:00 PM.

Compensation Range: $21.85 - $27.65 per hour, based on experience. The following benefits are also available-

Job Summary:

• Assist Media Center Specialist with day to day operations of the Media Center/Learning Commons
• Assist students with technology needs (iPads/Chromebooks, Google Drive, Canvas, Infinite Campus, etc)
• Supervision of students
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a changing work environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Two year degree preferred.
• Ability to perform clerical tasks with limited supervision and assume clerical responsibility for a major segment of the media center's operations.
• Desire to work and interact with middle school students.
