Substitute School Nurse 2026-27

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute school nurses for the 2026-27 school year. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.

*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.

Job Description: This position performs nursing duties to ensure the health and well-being of the students of the district.

Salary/Rate of Pay: $25.74 per hour
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualification: Experience as a school nurse. Experience in pediatric and/or public health nursing; Certification in CPR and AED training; Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Ability to interact with students, parents and staff; Exemplary communication skills; Technologically proficient
