POSITION:: Coaching Positions

Asst. Speech Coach
LOCATION:

Stillwater Area High School
PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY:: To prepare students for competitions and performances. Develop lesson plans and training sessions to enhance students' speech skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their performance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

- Connection to a high school community

- Communicate with high school students

- Be supportive to high school students

- Education degree and/or counseling

• Previous speech coaching experience preferred.
• IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Activities Director/ Principal
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:: A. Planning and leading practice sessions

B. Creating strategies to prepare/lead students for competitions

C. Provide feedback and coaching at practices/competitions

D. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
LENGTH OF ACTIVITIY:: Weeks: 18 (7.5 hours per week)

After School – As assigned by the head speech coach
PUBLIC PERFORMANCE:: Scheduled competitions
SALARY (POINTS):: Co-Curricular coaching contract
