Substitute Paraprofessional

1. Under the guidance and direction of special education, related service staff, and classroom teachers, support the implementation of the instructional program as well as facilitating the use of assistive technology. Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques specific to the needs of individual students. Understand and assist in implementing the students’ Individual Education Plans including goals, accommodations, and modifications.

2. Provides direct, individualized assistance to student(s) so that they can participate as independently as possible.
