Position: Swim Instructor (Posting Number 2627-3755)
Part Time (Evenings/Weekends during school year; also days during summer)

Location: Aquatic Center and Thomas Pools
Start Date: As Needed

Description and Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Looking for an experienced swimmer who enjoys working with children
• The Swim instructor will provide individual and/or group lesson instruction to patrons, age 6 months � adult.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely.
• Provide students with opportunities to learn with fundamental skills based upon the student's ability level and American Red Cross standards.
• Help to supervise all students during swim classes as well as locker rooms before and directly after classes.
• Provide specific and constructive feedback to each student verbally, and via end of session report cards, to enhance learning and understanding.
• Assist in set up and clean up for all classes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Salary: As Per Current Webster Educational Support Association Agreement
