Frontline Recruiting & Hiring, the product districts still call AppliTrack, is an applicant system that runs alongside the rest of Frontline’s HR software. If your district also uses it for absences, substitutes or professional learning, staying where you are is a defensible decision and this page will not try to talk you out of it. EduJobs is a job board with a light applicant system attached, and the price is on the website: 3 postings free, $79 for one, $990 for 25, or Unlimited priced by how many students you serve. Frontline does not publish a price.
you want hiring, absence management, substitute fill and onboarding on one contract, your team already lives in Frontline Central, and you have the budget cycle for an enterprise purchase.
you want roles listed and applications arriving this month, on a price you can put in a budget line, bought with a purchase order and no implementation project.
Everything in the Frontline Recruiting & Hiring column comes from their own published pages, quoted or closely paraphrased.

Where the Frontline Recruiting & Hiring column reads “not described on their product page”, that is exactly what it means. A capability missing from a marketing page is not a capability missing from the product, and we do not claim otherwise.
Written before anything about us, because a page that misdescribes the tool you use every day is not worth reading.
Frontline’s product page describes a native connection between Recruiting & Hiring and K12JobSpot, its own K-12 job board. A district using both does not post the role twice.
A hired candidate’s application, documents and pre-employment information move into a staff record in Frontline Central, and onboarding tasks are tracked from there. EduJobs does not do onboarding or employee records.
Frontline lists structured hiring stages with a shared view for HR and principals. In a district already running Frontline for absences and substitute cover, principals are in that system daily.
Absence management, substitute fill, professional learning and analytics are sold alongside hiring. A district already licensing several of them is adding a module rather than a vendor.
These are design choices, and each one costs us something.
You should not need a discovery call to write a budget line. Every number we charge is published, including the enrollment tiers, so you can build the request before you ever speak to us. The cost of that choice is that we cannot quietly price one district differently from another.
We built the public board before we built the workflow, so a posting works whether or not you use anything else of ours. Candidates search across districts rather than one district at a time.
Keep teaching applications flowing into the system you already run, and let bus driver and nutrition roles collect here where the application is two fields and a phone. It never changes what you pay.
Raise a purchase order and the postings turn on the same day, invoiced net 30 with a W-9 if you need one. There is no implementation phase, because there is nothing to implement.
A hiring recommendation becomes a consent-agenda packet, approvals route to whoever signs them, and the decision log sits on the candidate. Most applicant systems stop at the offer; in a district the offer is the middle of the process, not the end.
No rates appear anywhere on their site. The product page ends in a contact form, so a quote is the only way to learn the number, and what a district pays is settled in negotiation rather than published. We will not print a figure we cannot source.
Card or purchase order. Charters and private schools pay the same. Unlimited runs on a 12-month term, and above 100,000 students we quote.
Mostly, you should not have to. The common arrangement is not a migration at all: districts keep their applicant system for the roles it handles well and use us for the roles it does not, usually the hourly and support jobs where a long application quietly loses candidates. Nothing has to be exported and nothing has to be switched off.
If you do want to move properly, the timing is the part worth planning. Applicant systems in this market renew on a July–June cycle, so the decision is normally made in the spring for the following year, and a mid-year cutover means running two systems through the busiest hiring months. The easier version is to start listing here in the spring while the incumbent runs out its term, and let the overlap be deliberate rather than accidental. Applications already collected on EduJobs export as a spreadsheet whenever you ask, and we do not hold them hostage if you leave.
you already license several Frontline modules and want hiring on the same contract. The handoff from a hired candidate into onboarding in Frontline Central is the concrete thing that argues for staying, and it only pays off if you run Frontline Central as well. Two practical notes before you commit to it: the price is not published, so this route starts with a quote, and it is not a quick purchase.
roles are sitting open now and you want that to change this month. Post today with no account, keep the applicant system you already run, and pay $79 or raise a purchase order rather than opening a procurement cycle. Most districts never have to choose between the two: the vacancies that stay open longest are the hourly ones, and those can come here while teaching applications keep going wherever they go today.
