Secondary Special Ed Teacher

This is a posting for Special Education Teacher 2026-2027 school year.
Job Description and Current Compensation plan are attached.

Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments
May require additional certifications in subject area depending upon assignment

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned role
Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process
Standard Based Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal development and implementation
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Experience: At least one year student teaching or approved internship
