Speech Pathologist

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at Grayson County SSA. In this full-time role, you will work with students of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our students by developing personalized therapy plans and implementing effective interventions.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve students' speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
• Provide training and resources to educators to support student’s communication needs.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations and age groups, including children and adults.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
