• Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and comprehensive physical education lessons that align with state standards and the school curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their physical development and fitness goals.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance in physical education activities.
• Adapt lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
• Supervise students during physical activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification or license in Physical Education.
• Previous experience teaching physical education at the high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physical education principles, fitness concepts, and health education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
