Substitute Teacher

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to fill the role of Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds.

• Responsibilities
• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and ensure that students understand the material.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Provide instruction and support to students in accordance with the established curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students as needed.
• Assist with classroom activities and ensure that all materials and resources are utilized effectively.
• Communicate with school staff and parents regarding student needs and progress when necessary.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues or concerns to school administration.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles as required.

• Requirements
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom environments and student needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Background check clearance as required by school district policies.
• Previous experience in a teaching or educational setting is a plus.
