Continuing Education Part-Time Basic Renovations Instructor 2026-27

We are seeking an instructor to provide hands-on teaching of basic house construction and home maintenance to include: tool safety and knowledge, how to frame sub-floors and walls, install interior/exterior doors and windows, and install/repair sheetrock and spackle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years experience in construction and/or construction teaching experience
• Teaching experience (preferred)
• Excellent written and technical communication skills

CLASS ASSIGNMENT:

• Home Improvement/Basic Renovations
• Two evenings per week, 16 sessions, 3 hours per session, beginning in February 2027
• $40 per hour; Up to 65 total hours.
