Instructional Paraprofessional - 3 Positions

North Plainfield serves approximately 3,500 students in grades PreK�12 and is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• 60 college credits or a passing grade on the Paraprofessional Praxis required
• Ability to work productively in a collaborative setting
• Experience working with students preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

Qualifications

• Assist with individualized instruction
• Work with small groups of students under the supervision of the classroom teacher
• Reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher
• Complete data collection forms to monitor and support student progress
• Assist students with projects, activities, crafts, and curriculum tasks
• Assist with student supervision (e.g., playground, lunchroom, arrival/dismissal)
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $22.27 per hour (minimum) to $27.60 per hour (maximum) commensurate with experience

Compensation and benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
